for everyone
They should raise taxes on ideas.

Oh sure, let them wave a couple of picket signs here and there, throw in an entire union of supporters that are generally clueless about the cause. And voila. Wage hike. The red eyed  greed monster is appeased and will rear its ugly head after another six months or so. Power to the people. The common folk is forced to pay more for the same service (they could've at least made sure their employees used an effective anti-persperant)

Do they have much a choice?

They wish. We wish.

I mean this non threateningly, but if they can put a price on mediocre ways of getting from A to B then it's about time they gave the same importance (in the least) to IDEAS. It's dwindling away with the money we spend on senseless things.

Hmmm. Not a bad idea to make money out of ideas.

What do you know? I'm my FRIST stockholder.

that defeats the whole idea of "FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION". since it is meant to be free in the first place. But good sentiment too. :)
